SOCHI 2014 - As head coach Sean Simpson announced today, Anaheim Ducks' defenseman Luca Sbisa will not get the call to join the Swiss national team if all players stay healthy.

After Philippe Furrer's Olympics out due to injury, there is still one open spot on the Swiss' defense. Now, according to a tweet by Reto Kirchhofer of the "Berner Zeitung", it is sure that the Ducks' Luca Sbisa will not be the one filling the vacant position. Instead one of the defenseman who had traveled to Sochi with the team will be added from the Sidelist to the opening day roster.
