HCAP's Zurkirchen out 4 to 6 weeks, Masalskis' contract extended

MEDICAL REPORT - Sandro Zurkirchen, who just made his comeback last week, is injured again. The netminder already had to sit out last night's game and tests have now revealed that he suffered an injury to a meniscus in his right knee.

Zurkirchen will undergo surgery tomorrow and is expected to be out for four to six weeks.

In light of this situation, HC Ambrì-Piotta has decided to extend Edgars Masalskis' contract until the end of the season. (lcu)
