As Mattias Ek, journalist of the Swedish newspaper Expressen, reports in accordance with the website of Västerås IK, the 20-year-old will not only leave Västerås, but also Sweden.

As "Blick"-journalist Stephan Roth has learned from other Swedish sources, Boltshauser seems to return to the ZSC Lions and replace their backup-goalie Tim Wolf, who is leaving in direction of Rapperswil.

Leaving the ZSC Lions' youth organization after winning the Elite B Championship in 2011, Boltshauser signed a three-year contract with Färjestad BK at the age of 17. In the third and last year of his contract, he has played on loan for Västerås IK for which he completed two games in the second-highest Swedish league, the Allsvenskan.
