Dennis Saikkonen can see himself playing in Switzerland again

The 23-year-old goaltender is currently in his last contracted season with Finnish team JYP and has mostly played for their second division (Mestis) team JYP-Akatemia this season, posting a .894 save percentage in 19 games: "This season, I have not yet been recalled, but I have to be patient. There is strong competition."

His contract expires at the end of this season and while he is concentrating on his career in Finland, he also does not exclude a return to Switzerland: "It is also an option. I do not want to close any doors. [...] I am still monitoring the situation in Switzerland. I could very well play in Geneva or Lausanne, why not? But the most important part is that I can develop well here." (mso)
