At yesterday's general assembly of the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, the club announced a loss of CHF 433,892.- with a gross expense of almost CHF 6.3 million. Also, the shareholders agreed to another capital increase.

However, as the Südostschweiz reports, the Lakers will first decrease their shares from CHF 2.35 million to CH 470,000.- in order to reduce the indebtedness and the net loss. In a next step, they will try to sell 33,000 shares for a price of CHF 20.- per piece, so the share capital would end up at CHF 1.2 million.

The net loss for once was not covered by the Board of Directors, thus increasing the loss carryover to CHF 2.83 million. Moreover, the shareholders also re-elected the Board of Directors. Simon Koenig is the only new member. He will be responsible for the junior section, which will be separated from the joint-stock company and led independently. (mso)
