Yesterday, the League announced that two new farm teams, EVZ Academy and HCB Ticino Rockets, will receive their license for the next NLB season. This decision, however, does not resonate well with certain NLB teams.

These four clubs recognise that in order to have a functioning league, there has to be a sufficient number of teams. However, it was never the intention to have a league that is merely for the purpose of 'farming' young talents.

They emphasize that their league belongs to the best second leagues in the world. Therefore, they want a "strong and independent league." As a consequence, representatives of the clubs will have a meeting soon to discuss these issues. (bsc)
