The British-Canadian forward Corey Locke, 31, has signed a one-month contract with EHC Visp. In one month, the Valais have the option to extend Locke's stay until the end of the current season.

The 31-year-old joins EHC Visp coming from the DEL's Nürnberg Ice Tigers, for which he scored 39 points (11 goals, 28 assists) in 52 games last season. He should be able to make his debut in Tuesday's game against HC La Chaux-de-Fonds.

Over the course of his career, Locke has played a total of 705 games in the American Hockey League (208 goals, 421 assists) and also suited up in nine NHL-games with the Montréal Canadiens, New York Rangers, and Ottawa Senators (1 assist). (tme)
