On the other hand, the club won't extend the contracts of their Canadian forwards Alexandre Tremblay, 35, and 31-year-old Alex Nikiforuk. After a disappointing season, both foreigners have to pack their bags and go.
In view of the upcoming season, GCK's team manager is working on a return of their youth players Pius Suter (Guelph Storm, OHL), Kris Schmidli (Prince Albert Raiders, WHL) and Ryan McGregor (Harvard University, NCAA) from North America. (rlu)
