Five NLB-clubs have applied for a promotion to the NLA

NLB - As the SIHF informed at today's general assembly, five clubs of the National League B have applied for a possible promotion to the NLA and signed a letter of intent. Only a minority of the clubs would not want to get promoted.

As hockeyfans.ch reports, last year's NLB champion EHC Visp, the SCL Tigers, EHC Olten, SC Langenthal and HC La Chaux-de-Fonds have all handed in their applications. HC Red Ice, the GCK Lions, Hockey Thurgau, and HC Ajoie, on the other hand, would refrain from playing the League Qualification against the last team of the National League A.
