While HCC's players were about to get into their team bus, a supporter of SC Langenthal reportedly attacked several of them and made racist remarks about Dave Sutter's skin color. "These are very serious matters and we will take a stand against these acts," HCC's team manager Régis Fuchs said, who witnessed these incidents.

"We will press charges against unknown and inform the league about it," Fuchs continues. Also HCC's president Marius Mejier takes a clear standpoint: "We cannot let this go. These things are dismal and they have nothing to do with sport," he says. "We truly live in a society of fools. It's disgusting!"

Dave Sutter himself plays down the incidents: "It was one supporter, probably drunk," the 22-year-old says. "He wanted to provoke me just like other team mates. I was surprised by the behaviour of that person, but I didn't really want to make a big fuss about it."
