Considering the additional expenditures for the game organization, the third import-player (Alex Nikiforuk, GCK) as well as the outlays for the youth section, SC Langenthal's CEO Gian Kämpf is optimistic: "We are heading in the right direction," he said.

Compared with season 2012/13 (net loss of CHF 107,502.- with a revenue of CHF 3.8 million), the club was able to reduce the deficit as well as increase the revenue.

Another positive trend is the increase in number of spectators. Whereas 1937 fans pilgrimaged to the Schoren-arena in 2012/13, 2336 fans (on average) attended SC Langenthal's home games this year during the regular season (+20,6%).

Furthermore, it will come to some changes within the club's leadership. Kurt Giesser, Heinz Schlatter and René Zimmerli will step down from the Board of Directors, whereas Andreas Choffat as well as Gian Kämpf are proposed for the election into it.

In the future, the CEO is said to prevail also as delegate of the Board of Directors in order to reduce the workload of the club's president.

SC Langenthal's general assembly will take place on September 9, 2014.
