As HC Ambrì-Piotta now officially announces, Janne Pesonen has signed for seven weeks with an option for an extension for the entire season. He will replace Adam Hall, who will be out at least until the end of September.

The 34-year-old forward played last season with Skellefteå AIK, scoring 14 goals and 16 assists in 38 games. However, Pesonen spent most of his career in the KHL (131 points in 243 games) and the Liiga (276 points in 289 games), playing for teams such as Kärpät Oulu, HIFK and Ak Bars Kazan.
