According to the Berner Zeitung, the SCL Tigers' team manager Jörg Reber is not looking for a fifth import player at the moment. Moreover, forward Daniel Steiner (photo) will likely not return to the Emmental.

Reber, however, is still in contact with French defenseman Kevin Hecquefeuille, who is still looking for a new employer. He played for the Tigers from 2013 to 2016. At the moment, a return to Langnau does not seem to be an option. The same also applies to Daniel Steiner, who had to leave EHC Biel with immediate effect at the end of June.

Moreover, the 20-year-old forward Jan Mühlemann, who played for Langnau's U20 team last season, will receive the opportunity to prove himself over the next few weeks. He might earn the chance to play for the Tigers' NLA team. Last season, Mühlemann played 36 games for the Tigers' Elite A team and scored 23 points (twelve goals, eleven assists). (bsc)
