Simon Rytz is not a happy man currently. The signing of Jonas Hiller means that he loses his shot at playing regularly for EHC Biel. He is thus pretty candid about his feelings in an interview with the Journal de Jura.

"I expected to be No. 1 or at least play regularly like I did in the past three seasons", says the 32-year-old goaltender. "The new situation is not at all good for me. In fact, it sucks." He adds that he is not angry at the club for seizing a great opportunity, but stresses that he is no longer 25 years old and wants to play.

"I asked my agent to have a look at the market, but there are not many openings currently. I have to discuss the different possibilities with the club", elaborates Rytz. "As it was the case with Pär Arlbrandt this summer, It seems to me that EHCB is not against the idea to let a contracted player leave. However, for the moment I am here and I will concentrate on the preparation." According to Kevin Schläpfer, if another goalie sustains an injury, a loan might also be a possibility. (mso)
