Asked by Ticinonline if, aside from HC Lugano, now also the ZSC Lions will enter the race for Skellefteå AIK's top scorer Patrik Zackrisson, the new head coach of the Lions declines: "Actually not. Patrik is a great player and he has done well with us in Sweden. But no, it's not our goal to bring him to Zurich."
In an earlier interview, Wallson already said that it is a matter of respect for his former team that he will not try to lure any of their players to Zurich. And what about Zackrisson moving to Lugano? Wallson thinks that Switzerland would only be his second choice: "He came to Skellefteå from the KHL and I believe that his first option for the next season is to get back there." (tme)
