Where exactly the Swede will play is not yet known, but Ticinonews writes that HK Dynamo Moscow might be on his trail. However, since his original contract with Lugano would have been valid until 2017, he will not be able to sign with another Swiss team until then. Furthermore, Tim Stapleton, who joined the Bianconeri from EHC Biel late in the season, will not return to Lugano next season.
Tony Mårtensson (contract until 2017) and Linus Klasen (contract until 2018), on the other hand, will definitely suit up for them again. As for Maxim Lapierre, his fate has yet to be decided, according to La Regione, though he is not the number one option.
In other news, Habisreutinger will not be in Lugano for the next five months. While he will still fullfil his tasks, he will do so in Alaska until the end of September, as he tells HeShootsHeScoores. However, as Ticinonews reports, his functions will for the moment be entrusted to vice president Andy Näser. (mso)
