mt_ignoreAs the Tages-Anzeiger reports, the Kloten Flyers' head coach and team manager Sean Simpson is looking at possible options to add a sixth import player to their roster.

According to the same source, this will likely be another import defenseman. Simpson is therefore scouring the market. "I don't want to exclude anything," he explains. The Flyers, and the rest of the teams, have until next Sunday to sign new players who do not have a Swiss player's license.

Currently, the Flyers have already used six of their eight import licenses. However, they only have one import defenseman on their roster, Erik Gustafsson. Furthermore, Canadian forward Mark Olver, who joined the Flyers this past summer, already left the team at the end of October. (bsc)

UPDATE As the Neue Zürcher Zeitung writes, Chad Kolarik's future in Kloten is uncertain and he might leave Switzerland soon. Reportedly, there are several Swedish teams interested in the services of the 30-year-old American forward. - (bsc) 7 February 2016, 10:46 PM
