As Gottéron's team manager Christian Dubé confirms to Salminen joined HC Fribourg-Gottéron on a one-year contract from KHL's Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod during summer last year and was able to put up a total of ten goals and 15 assists in 42 games for them since then.
According to Radio Fribourg, talks in order to find an appropriate replacement for the Finn have already taken place. (rlu)
