mt_ignoreThe rumors might be true. According to Vince Criblez (Journal du Jura), Robbie Earl has reportedly signed a contract with EHC Biel until the end of the 2016-17 season. He is expected to arrive in Switzerland next week.

On Saturday, the Journal du Jura reported that EHC Biel is trying to lure Earl back to Switzerland. The 30-year-old American left EV Zug this past summer and joined Färjestad BK in the Swedish Hockey League. In 32 games for them, Earl managed to put up 20 points (six goals and 14 assists). (bsc)

UPDATE As Färjestad's team manager Leif Carlsson tells Värmland Folksblad, there is nothing done yet regarding Earl's future and thus "nothing to comment on." However, he adds that "Robbie belongs to us and he will play against Växjö. We need every player given our injury situation."

He confirms that the forward's agent has asked about his player's future with the club but "I answered that in the current situation, we can not determine anything about next season. We will await for spring and see how everything turns out." As for Pär Arlbrandt, he is not interested in the services of the Swede, who is looking for a new home.
