Inti Pestoni has finally made his decision. As the Corriere del Ticino reports, the 24-year-old will leave the Biancoblù at the end of the season and move to Zürich, where he has signed a three-year deal.
Recent rumors about the ZSC Lions' pole position in the race for Pestoni and that only the signature would be missing have proved to be true. According to the Corriere del Ticino, also SC Bern and HC Fribourg-Gottéron have been courting him strongly.
Pestoni is a homegrown talent of HC Ambrì-Piotta and has only played for his youth team in his career so far. In 297 games in the National League A, the forward put up 203 points (70 goals, 133 assists) for the Biancoblù. (rlu)
