With SC Bern, Bergenheim has signed a contract for the rest of the 2015-16 season. The contract also includes an option for the club to extend Bergenheim's stint in the capital city for another two years. He is set to make his debut in Friday's home game against HC Lugano.
The 31-year-old has an experience of 532 games in the NHL in which he put up a total of 197 points (108 goals, 89 assists). Since 2011, he had played for the Florida Panthers until he was traded to the Minnesota Wild during the past season. (tme)
