The Board of Directors of HC Ambrì-Piotta has decided not to sign forward Juraj Simek, La Regione reports. The 28-year-old, who is without a contract since last season, thus has to look for another team.
The Biancoblù are, on the other hand, continuing to conduct talks with EHC Olten's defender Fabian Ganz on a possible contract for the upcoming season.
HCAP had already been trying to sign the defenseman this summer but EHC Olten did not release him from his contract, which is valid until 2016. However, also other teams are showing interest in the 25-year-old. (lcu)
