Cory Emmerton has played the past season with HK Sochi in the Kontinental Hockey League, registering 17 goals and twelve assists in 64 appearances.
Before moving to the KHL last summer, the forward was a part of the organisation of the Detroit Red Wings from 2007 to 2014, where he was able to put up 23 points in a total of 147 NHL games. (lcu)
