"Skellefteå is as always an option. Then I think that Switzerland is an interesting league and St. Petersburg is the alternative in Russia", says the 35-year-old forward, who used to be the captain of SHL team Skellefteå , where he played from 2002 to 2014 (with the exception of a short stint with Leksands IF in the 2005-06 season).

He further elaborates that he thinks that his contract situation will soon be resolved and that he had good conversations with Skellefteå, but that they have not agreed on something concrete yet.

The Swedish International, who won an Olympic Silver Medal in Sochi with the Swedes and also has several World Championship Medals in his possession, scored 16 goals and 14 assists in 78 games for SKA St. Petersburg and won the KHL Championship title with his team this season. (mso)
