NLA - As the Tribune de Genève reports, the 18-year-old forward Damien Riat returns to his youth team Genève-Servette HC. The youngster has played in Canada and Sweden for the last three seasons after leaving GSHC in 2012.

As the TdG has learned from several sources, Damien Riat is supposed to sign a multi-year, most likely a three-year contract with the team of Chris McSorley. He is deemed to be one of the most promising prospects of his age and is also part of Switzerland's U18 national team.

This season, the native of Geneva has played for Malmö's U18, U20 and also their first team in the Allsvenskan. In 40 games for their U20, he put up 14 points (7 goals) and remained pointless in three games in Sweden's second-highest league. (tme)
