After a disappointing season so far (only 38 points out of 31 games, 8th place in the standings), the club's leadership has finally decided to give Felix Hollenstein and Kimmo Rintanen the pink slip.
Both successors, Sean Simpson as well as Colin Muller have signed multi-year contracts in Kloten. Furthermore, in addition to the job as the Flyers' new head coach, Sean Simpson also takes over the position as team manager.
Andre Rötheli - team manager until today - has been downgraded, but stays within the organization. He will lead the Elite A youth team as of the upcoming season 2015-16.
Simpson and Muller have both been looking for a new job, since they were fired on September 27 by KHL's Lokomotiv Yaroslavl after only nine games.
