The 27-year-old winger, who was drafted by the New York Islanders in the second round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, has played in 130 NHL games, scoring 13 goals and eleven assists for the Islanders and the Edmonton Oilers.
This season, the Finn scored two goals and two assists in 20 games for the Oilers. His contract will last until the end of the 2014/15 season.
