The 22-year-old goaltender will already take part in tomorrow's game against the Kloten Flyers. He has not played for HCD this season so far, but was in the net for Hockey Thurgau for 13 games, posting a 3.18 GAA. He will be on loan with the Grenats until Bays and Mayer have recovered from their respective injuries.
According to the Tribune de Genève, Bays will at least miss the next four games due to a concussion, whereas Mayer will certainly not return before the international break, as he is still recovering from his ankle injury. Schwendener will thus probably end the year as an Eagle.
