NLA - As Blick.ch reports, HC Lugano's Raphaël Kuonen will be on loan with HC Fribourg-Gottéron until the end of the year. This is mostly a reaction to the Dragons' injury woes in their forward section.

"I am happy that he will join us. This way, we will have four complete lines at our disposition again", says HCFG's head coach Gerd Zenhäusern, who has to make do without four of his forwards at the moment: Martin Plüss (knee), Martin Ness (fractured ankle), Sandy Jeannin (concussion) and Andreï Bykov (tendon rupture).

Kuonen, 22, has only played 14 games for the Bianconeri so far this season, finding himself to be a healthy scratch lately. He has yet to find the back of the net this year or pick up an assist, so maybe a change of scenery might just help him as well. He will stay with the Dragons until the end of the year.
