The 31-year-old forward did not have problems adapting to the NLA, having already scored 16 points (nine goals, seven assists) in 17 games this season.
Pär Arlbrandt joined EHC Biel this summer from Linköping, where he had an outstanding season last year, scoring 81 points (29 goals, 52 assists) in 67 games. His contract with the Seelanders would have originally lasted through 2015.
