"For 2016-17, I have already signed with Lugano and for 2017-18 with Rapperswil," Mathias Seger jokes in an interview with 20 Minuten. "Only for the upcoming season I still got nothing." But that could change soon. As he confirms to 20 Minuten, the contract talks with the ZSC Lions are well underway.

Mathias Seger joined the ZSC Lions in 1999, coming from SC Rapperswil-Jona. Seven years later, he took over the captaincy in 2006. Over his whole career, the now 36-year-old played a total of 966 NLA-games (113 goals, 312 assists).
