NLA - It's the final phase of the negotiations and contract talks around EV Zug's forward Reto Suri. Two teams have offered a contract to the 25-year-old. One of the teams is his current team EV Zug - the other is still a mystery.

"I want to be through with it soon," Reto Suri says to the Neue Luzerner Zeitung. "There will be a decision between two teams." One is EV Zug, who has offered Suri a multi-year contract extension. But the other one?

According to information from the Neue Luzerner Zeitung, Suri wants to stay in the german-speaking part of Switzerland. Just like HC Lugano's team manager Roland Habisreutinger, also SCB's Sven Leuenberger and ZSC's Edgar Salis proclaim that they have not made an offer.

Of course, this could only be strategic talk from all the team managers and does not have to be taken too seriously. For Reto Suri only one thing is important in the end: "It really depends on the whole package." He wants to sign his new contract next week.

UPDATE According to the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, the second team that is in the race for Suri are indeed the Kloten Flyers, who are looking to replace forward Simon Bodenmann for the next season - 27 September 2014, 8:15 AM
