NLA - After already Bern's Philippe Furrer and Kloten's Simon Bodenmann have signed with new teams for the next season, also Swiss international Reto Suri, whose contract with EV Zug is about to expire, arouses interest of several teams.

"Yes, there is interest," the 25-year-old confirms to the Neue Luzerner Zeitung. "And yes, my agent is listening to offers." According to the same source, the Kloten Flyers are one of the teams that would like to sign Suri. Nevertheless, his first point of contact is EV Zug, the native of Zurich says.

It is clear, however, that Suri won't sign anywhere without an NHL out-clause in his contract. In addition, also a raise of his salary will be inevitable. To sign the Swiss international to a new contract, the teams probably would have to pay him more than CHF 500,000 per year. "I would like to have clarity in the next couple of weeks," the forward says.
