Since his National League A debut in 2006/07, Bodenmann permanently played under contract with the Kloten Flyers. In 312 NLA games, he was able to score 58 goals and 72 assists.
With Switzerland's national team, the native of Urnäsch appeared in 31 games so far, scoring twelve goals and six assists.
Together with his team-mates, he won the silver medal at the 2013 World Championship in Stockholm and Helsinki, where he added two goals and three assists in ten games.
