The 41-year old Canadian will not only be the assistant coach of Heinz Ehlers, but also will take over certain tasks within LHC's junior department. He already has gained some coaching experience, notably as assistant coach of Canada's World Junior U18 squad in the 2012/13 season.

Furthermore, the former forward is already familiar with LHC's other assistant coach Rikard Franzén, since they played together in Bern back in the 2002/03 season.

Sarault is already a household name in the National League A, having played a bit more than five seasons here for SC Bern, Genève-Servette HC, HC Davos and the EHC Basel Sharks and of course winning championships with Bern (03/04) and Davos (06/07).
