Östlund will play the season with IFK Arboga in the Swedish 1st Division but is at the disposal of HC Lugano in case of an injury of Daniel Manzato or Elvis Merzlikins.
To help the integration process, the young netminder will take part in HCL's training camp from August 25 to September 1, which will be held in the region of Göteborg.
