"HCAP is proud to be part of an organization that promotes hockey worldwide and on multiple levels, and welcomes the newly formed collaboration," HC Ambrì-Piotta announces on their website.

The European Hockey Club alliance was founded on June 13 this year and initially included 72 founding clubs from several European leagues. From the Swiss leagues, SC Bern, EHC Biel, HC Davos, HC Fribourg-Gottéron, Genève-Servette HC, EHC Kloten, Lausanne HC, HC Lugano, EV Zug, the ZSC Lions and the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers were among them.
