Kienzle denies rumor about leaving HC Fribourg-Gottéron

According to the Corriere del Ticino (relayed by HeShootsHeScoores), there are rumors circulating that HC Fribourg-Gottéron's defenseman Lorenz Kienzle might soon return to HC Lugano.

However, as the 28-year-old defenseman tells Frank Stettler (Freiburger Nachrichten), there is nothing to this rumor and that he will stay with HC Fribourg-Gottéron.

Kienzle joined the Dragons this summer and agreed to a two-year contract with them, valid until 2018. Previously, he had been part of the Bianconeri's organisation for six seasons, scoring 63 points in 317 games for them. This season, he has one assist to his name after twelve regular season games.
