The 33-year-old forward is already familiar with Switzerland, as he used to play for Lausanne HC, EHC Biel and SC Langenthal from 2007 to 2010. Last year, the Canadian played 34 games for the Malmö Redhawks, scoring two goals and ten assists.
While Hockey Thurgau had initially planed to play the 2016-17 season without import players due to financial reasons, they have now decided to sign one after all in view of their place in the standings. However, the player will be paid for by the Board of Directors and not by the organisation itself.
