According to Patrick Andrey (Yes FM), Mike Santorelli has decided to leave Genève-Servette HC with immediate effect. Reportedly, the 30-year-old Canadian-Italian forward did not enjoy his time in Geneva and was bored.

Therefore, Santorelli will leave the Grenats after just six games As Andrey further reports, he will likely be replaced by a player of the New York Rangers. However, this will be announced after the Rangers' training camp.

Santorelli signed a two-year contract with GSHC in July. In the 2015-16 season, he played for the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL. In six games for the Grenats thus far, he scored one goal and three assists for a total of four points.
