As EHC Kloten's team manager Pascal Müller tells the Tages-Anzeiger, they will look around for another goaltender in the light of Luca Boltshauser's injury (out for six to eight weeks).

Müller wants to make sure that there is another option, if Martin Gerber also should get injured in the time Boltshauser is recovering from his torn MCL. As for who might be the 23-year-old's replacement, the same source reports that Melvin Nyffeler is one of the candidates.

The 21-year-old goaltender, who is still without contract for the current season, is currently keeping himself in shape with Hockey Thurgau. However, Müller has not disclosed whether they will go with a Swiss or a foreign-born netminder.

In other news, Matthias Bieber (photo) was unable to finish the game on Saturday after he was subjected to a hit by the ZSC Lions' David Rundblad. He sustained a knee injury in the play and will undergo further medical testing on Monday.
