"Markus Granlund will not stay with us for two reasons: one is that we don't know what will become of Thürkauf, who may return to America. And the other is that talking with the staff we decided that we will need a centerman instead of a winger," Hnat Domenichelli, team manager of HC Lugano, discloses in RSI's Domenica Sportiva.
Matt Tennyson, John Quenneville, and Mario Kempe will also not return to the Bianconeri. The future of Arttu Ruotsalainen, who has one year left on his deal, is, however, unclear at the moment: "We expected more points from him, we will have to discuss his future to understand what went wrong, but that is something we will have to talk about face to face."
They will also talk with Joey LaLeggia, as they are not satisfied with his performance either this season. He, too, has a year left on his contract.
