Three quarterfinals went the full length - HC Fribourg-Gottéron was victorious against HC Lugano on Thursday and both Lausanne HC (versus HC Davos) as well as EV Zug (versus SC Bern) defeated their opponents yesterday. Adding the ZSC Lions to the mix, the higher-seeded team won every series.
This leads to semifinal pairings with a Swiss-German battle between Zurich and Zug and a Western duel between Fribourg and Lausanne. The first games will be played tomorrow Monday, at 8 pm (CEST).
