SC Bern should have a seventh import at their disposal soon. As Der Bund writes, Corban Knight is about to sign with the club from the Swiss capital. Currently a member of Avangard Omsk, the 32-year-old still needs to dissolve his contract with the Russian organization.
Knight would be putting an end to a four-year stint in the KHL. Prior to that, the forward was bouncing around between leagues in North America, with the majority of time spent in the AHL. He does have 52 NHL games to his name though.
