According to Stefano Sala (Ticinonews), Swedish forward David Ullström, who played for KHL team Sibir Novosibirsk last season, might be interested to leave the KHL in direction of Switzerland.

As Ullström's agent Patrik Aronsson tells Expressen, the forward has two options to choose from. One is from Russia and one from Switzerland. He has also received a contract offer from his former club HV71, but for now he will not pursue that option.

As for the Swiss team interested in his services, according to SwissHabs, that might be Lausanne HC. However, as Jérôme Reynard tweeted today, Lausanne HC's team manager Jan Alston denied that they had made an offer for Ullström

The 27-year-old center played the past three seasons in the KHL, after having appeared in 52 NHL games for the New York Islanders and 143 games for their AHL affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, from 2010 to 2013. In 47 games for Novosibirsk last season, he scored 17 goals and 14 assists. (mso)
