As the Tribune de Genève writes, rumor has it that the almost 35-year-old defenseman has signed a two-year contract with HC Fribourg-Gottéron. "During the playoffs it's not the right time to talk about this," Bezina answers. "To be honest, I don't feel like leaving, but when you feel that you're not wanted anymore..."
In spite of a contract with Genève-Servette HC until the end of next season, the Croatian-born defenseman could leave Geneva due to an out-clause in his contract, as GSHC's coach Chris McSorley confirms to the same source. (tme)
UPDATE As Frank Stettler (Freiburger Nachrichten) reports, Raphaël Berger has denied the signing of Bezina: "Bezina has not signed with Fribourg. That is all I have to say." - 04 March 2015, 8:08 AM
Berger in den FN: „Bezina hat nicht in Freiburg unterschrieben. Das ist alles was ich zu sagen habe." #Gottéron
