RUMOR - According to Blick, SC Bern's youngster Mauro Dufner will leave the capital and has signed with EHC Biel for the upcoming season. The 19-year-old has so far appeared in nine career NLA games (two points) with the Bears.

Additionally, Blick reports that according to inside sources, HC Ambrì-Piotta's Daniel Steiner has accepted EHCB's offer and also signed with the Seelanders. He apparently informed HCAP this weekend about his departure from the Leventina.

The 34-year-old is in his second season with Ambrì and currently the Biancoblù's best Swiss scorer with 14 goals and ten assists in 41 games. (lcu)

UPDATE As Laurent Kleisl (Journal du Jura) reports on Twitter, EHCB's team manager Martin Steinegger has confirmed the club's interest in SCB's defenseman Mauro Dufner, "a youngster with enormous potential". - 26 January 2015, 12:25 PM
