Thoresen has already been a part of the Bianconeri back in the 2007/08 season, scoring an impressive 71 points (23 goals, 48 assists) in 55 games. He then signed a contract with KHL-team Salavat Yulaev Ufa, before he joined his current team SKA Saint Petersburg in 2011. This season, the Norwegian international has scored 31 points (14 goals, 17 assists) in 35 games. His contract expires at the end of the season.
