Thomas Bäumle definitely is no stranger in the Valascia, where he played for HC Ambrì-Piotta for seven seasons between 2005 and 2012. The 30-year-old is currently under contract with EHC Olten, for whom he has appeared in nine games so far this season.
The Biancoblù are in desperate need of a goaltender for the upcoming games, as starting goalie Sandro Zurkirchen is unlikely to return to HCAP's line-up before Christmas and Michael Flückiger has also been ruled out for the weekend because he still hasn't recovered from his concussion.
