Medical Report

Bad news for SC Langenthal, as their captain Stefan Tschannen won't be able to hit the ice again for the rest of the season due to a severe shoulder injury which he sustained in last Tuesday's game against Hockey Thurgau.

"Tschannen won't play any further games in the upcoming months," Urs Hefti, head doctor of the Swiss Sport Clinic, confirms. "The focus is now on his complete recovery, so that the Captain is ready again for the start of the 2016-17 season."

Furthermore, as SC Langenthal informs, Gianni Ehrensperger (via B-license from EHC Biel) will return to their lineup for tomorrow's clash against HC Red Ice. Dominic Hobi, on the other hand, has to sit out the game because of a provisional one-game suspension. (rlu)
